 ecoENERGY
Home-Retrofit Program
New in 2007 is the
ecoEnergy Home-Retrofit program. Developed by Natural Resources
Canada, the ecoENERGY program provides energy efficiency home
evaluations. ATCO EnergySense delivers the program to ATCO Gas and
ATCO Electric customers.
The
purpose of the home evaluation is to encourage energy efficient
improvements while improving a home’s indoor environment and
durability, thereby lowering the impact on the environment. The
evaluation also supplies customers with an EnerGuide rating label
that enables them to compare the efficiency of houses in their
region and across Canada.
A
Federal government grant program is available through the ecoENERGY
Home-Retrofit program. The grant rewards customers for making high
energy-efficient upgrades. Learn

As an experienced
service provider, ATCO EnergySense has conducted over 41,000
residential energy evaluations across the province since October
2001.
