Initial Assessment Preparation Sheet

Before you start your renovations or your initial home energy assessment, please ensure that you have read through and completed all of the items on this checklist prior to the home energy advisor arriving at your home.

Notice to Homeowner Waiver

The federal government requires this waiver to be filled out prior to the home energy advisor leaving your home after the initial home energy assessment.  It asks for your tax roll number which can be found on your property tax assessment document.

Habitable Home Definition

To be able to conduct an energy assessment on your home, it must meet the federal government's definition of a habitable home.
