First Home Energy Assessment Checklist
To qualify for the first home energy assessment, you must have registered with Natural Resources Canada as of January 28, 2012.In preparing for your first home energy assessment, ALL of the following points must be completed prior to the evaluator arriving at your home:

Renovations that are part of an addition made to a property following the pre-retrofit evaluation (first assessment) are not eligible for a retrofit grant and may reduce the grant amount for the improvement(s) done on the existing portion of your home. Consult your energy advisor.
