Computers, puzzles and fun drew thousands of students to the ATCO EnergySense display at the Mayor’s Environment Expo in Calgary this past spring.
Using computers generously donated by ATCO I-Tek for the event, students at the Expo were able to enjoy some of the same activities that are found in the ATCO EnergySense Energy Education Mobile.
The first activity, a computer game using scanners, challenged players to find ways to use less electricity in their homes. A second puzzle activity taught visitors about the natural resources that make up Alberta’s energy mix.
Over 5,500 students and 60 exhibitors took part in this year’s Expo.
