Through a recent town council decision on July 13, 2009, a rebate of one third (33%) of the cost of a commercial facility energy assessment will be offered to Banff businesses.  The town of Banff recognizes that carefully monitoring and improving a company’s bottom line, energy consumption and environmental footprint is an important aspect of business, and one that is integral to the success of any organization.   

To date in 2009, ATCO EnergySense has conducted commercial facility energy assessments on 696,572 square feet of commercial property space.  Through careful evaluation, a potential savings of 1,180  tonnes of GHG emissions, 249,535 kWh and 19,182 GJ’s have been identified for these facilities.
